Reed Diffuser (Maker’s Collection)
These handmade ceramic reed diffusers are part of the Maker’s Collection, one-off and small batch finishes that explore pattern, surface, and process through a more experimental approach to making.
Each wheel-thrown ceramic diffuser is individually finished by hand, making every piece unique. The collection includes six distinct finishes:
Marble (sage & chalk / charcoal & chalk)
Coloured clays are blended together on the wheel, creating soft, fluid patterns. No two marble pieces are the same, with natural variation in tone and movement.
Pencil Marks (lines / grid)
Hand-drawn using an underglaze pencil, these pieces feature either linear or grid patterns. The markings are applied individually, giving each bottle its own character.
Mishima (damson / sage)
A decorative inlay technique where lines are carved into the surface and filled with coloured clay. Available in damson or sage, this process creates a subtle contrast within the clay body.
Each ceramic vessel is finished with a clear glaze to make it fully watertight, suitable for use as a reed diffuser or a small bud vase.
Pair with a reed diffuser refill to create a long-lasting home fragrance, or use as a standalone ceramic piece.

Rather than adding the colour through the traditional method of glazing, we instead work with coloured clays. All of our coloured clays are mixed by hand, ensuring that the colour is integrated throughout the entire ceramic form.
