Takeout Cup, Linework
This handmade ceramic takeout coffee cup is part of the Maker’s Collection, a series of small batch pieces that explore surface, pattern, and process.
Designed as a reusable alternative to disposable coffee cups, this piece features a hand-drawn linework pattern, created using an underglaze pencil. Each line is drawn freehand, giving every cup a unique finish.
The cup is wheel-thrown in our chalk stoneware clay and finished with a transparent gloss glaze, creating a smooth surface while allowing the linework detail to show through clearly.
A small drinking hole is built into the top, designed for ease of use while helping to reduce spills. The lidless design keeps the form simple and makes it easy to clean, while offering a more considered, long-term alternative to single-use cups.
With a capacity of approximately 300ml (10 fl oz), it’s well suited to your everyday coffee.
